Attendees at Yong Xin Huang's shrine in Columbus Park
Title
Attendees at Yong Xin Huang's shrine in Columbus Park
            Description
Two attendees of the vigil for Yong Xin Huang tie white ribbons on a fence around a large poster dedicated to Yong Xin, while a man (far left) looks off camera solemnly.
Members of CAAAV and the family of Yong Xin Huang marched through Manhattan Chinatown to Columbus Park to create a shrine to Yong Xin, who was shot and killed by the police in Brooklyn in March of that year. The vigil was held on the day before what would have been his seventeenth birthday.
