Protest at Manhattan Bridge
Title
Protest at Manhattan Bridge
Description
In protest of Mayor Giuliani's policies, police brutality, and other issues, coordinated protests across New York City took place, with two tunnels and two bridges being peacefully taken over. CAAAV helped organize the Manhattan Bridge action, which can be seen in this image. A group of young men and women sit on the ground in protest, with some wearing signs, while NYPD officers are seen in the background. One officer is leading an arrested protestor away.
