A banner made by SINFPAD (Southern Initiative NGOs Forum for Participatory Development) is wrapped around tree trunks which reads, “OUR WATER OUR (obscured) OUR RESOURCE OUR (obscured) OUR RIGHTS OUR (obscured) OUR LIFE OUR WAT(ER).” SINFPAD works in Tamil Nadu, India towards ecological justice, particularly with respect to the effects of global warming on the people in the region.
