Protestors March to Save Philadelphia’s Chinatown and Oppose Naval Bombing of Vieques

Protestors in Philadelphia march with signs and shirts that read, “NO STADIUM IN CHINATOWN,” and effigies likely of Mayor John Street, protesting the construction of a baseball stadium for the Phillies near Chinatown. Interspersed are signs that protest the U.S. Naval operations in Vieques, Puerto Rico, whose bombings had recently killed Vieques native David Sanes in 1999.
