Protest at Manhattan D.A.'s office for Saleem Osman

Title

Protest at Manhattan D.A.'s office for Saleem Osman

Description

Protestors at a rally in support of Saleem Osman hold signs reading "Drop All Charges Against Saleem" and "Police the Police NOW!" outside of Manhattan Criminal Court. The red banner behind them reads "Stop Racist and Economic Violence". White text along the bottom reads "Commiteee Against Anti-Asian Violence." The rest of the banner is partially obscured. The rally was organized to put pressure on District Attorney Robert Morgenthau to drop charges against Osman. Osman was scheduled to stand trial three days after these photos were taken.
