Sleep Deprivation Chamber is a play by Adrienne Kennedy and her son, Adam Kennedy. It premiered in 1996 at the Public Theater. The play is based on the Kennedy's real-life experience with police brutality.
"Parents Against Police Brutality" was an organization comprised of the families of victims of police brutality and other concerned parents. It was formed by Iris Baez after her son Anthony Baez was killed by police in 1994.
