Audience and performers socialize at CAAAV's "The Rhythm is Ours!" fundraiser

This image is from the sold out CAAAV "The Rhythm is Ours!" fundraiser, held at the Public Theatre. The benefit featured performances by drumming groups Soh Daiko (Japanese), Djembe Ensemble (West African), Umuncha (Korean), Kinding Sindaw (Filipina), MAD Rumheros (Latino), La Troupe Makandal (Haitian), and Silver Cloud Singers (Native American). The groups represented a wide range of New York ethnic communities.
