Description

March 24, 1995, Yong Xin Huang was shot and killed by police officer Steven Mizrahi. This incited protests among Asian communities against police brutality and anti-Asian violence. Marches and demonstrations took place for the cause of Yong Xin Huang, demanding justice for him and minority groups under violence.

These photos show protestors holding a banner that says "Committee Against Anti-Asian Violence New York City". Some are also wearing a white band on their head to demonstrate their outrage.
