CAAAV and NCPRR (National Congress for Puerto Rican Rights) took over the Manhattan Bridge entrance (the Chinatown side) during rush hour. They wore vests with messages protesting Mayor Giuliani’s oppressive police policies. Others took over the Brooklyn Bridge & Midtown Tunnel at the same time.
